If you have been brainstorming at any point in Kolkata or been associated with the advertising industry, then it is impossible to ignore Oly Pub. Grotesque interiors, chipped glasses, the stink of liquor and an occasional peek from the pet rodent, all add to the intellectual character of this pub. Olympia, better known as Oly Pub, is still the institution and watering hole for many. Cheap prices, flowing pitchers of beer and regular patrons keep the place buzzing. The attractions are the chanachur and peanuts, as much as the spirits. The eats include cutlets, sandwiches, Chicken à la Kiev and the legendary Beef Steak in the city. Legend goes that it was the regular haunt of American GIs during the War - it was then that the Beef Steak recipe originated.

An old friend dragged me to Oly Pub saying that the feel of this pub is worth attending. He was true and i felt good to be at this place. Its a happening place serving cheap food and beer.
Chanachur with beer was a good combination and the Beef steak of Oly Pub is best in the city.

This was my first visit to this place. The place offers a wonderful menu filled with lot of drinks, and food. The ambience Is good and worth visiting.
