This restaurant has been feeding Calcuttans since the early 1900s when it was opened by Mr Trinca. Later, the restaurant became a hub of live entertainment and now the present owners keep the legacy of both food and entertainment alive through food promotions and festivals... but without much success. The food is the usual multi-cuisine fare of Indian and Chinese that is so commonplace in Kolkata. The Chilli Garlic Noodles, Golden-fried Prawns, Boneless Chilli Chicken and Drums of Heaven are popular in the Chinese fare. In the Indian section, the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Tikka Butter Masala remain in demand. The food is run of the mill, with nothing reminiscent of the colonial era, neither in the menu nor in the decor. Sheer location, live events by big names like Usha Uthup and its heritage keeps the place buzzing.

The other day i went to this Trincas that serves great chinese cuisine. My family loved eating Golden-fried Prawns, chilli garlic noodles and Drums of Heaven here.
Trincas is packed with diners during weekends.
