A quality North Indian mithai shop in the Burrabazaar market, Bhikharam Chandmal serves milk-based sweets and North Indian namkeens. Their Kaju Burfi, Khoa Sandesh, Boondi Laddoo and Gajar ke Halwa are possibly one of the best in today’s market. If you are on the lookout for Jodhpuri Mirch Pakoda, Gulab Jamun and Kesariya Rabadi, trot to their shop near City Centre in Salt Lake. They even have street-food counters, under the same roof. And this mithai-namkeen shop gets brownie points for their non-oily Bikaneri bhujiya, chanachur and namkeens. Quite a feat.

The salesman is very rude and impolite towards bengali customers. Besides the sweets are not at par with the price. Never will I visit this store again. Haldiram is much better anyday.
