Think of Shiraz and biryani comes to the mind. That is not to say that their chaanps, kebabs and Tandoori Chicken are not... they are... as famous as the Kolkata Biryani that they make. In the last three decades, Shiraz has made the humble potato a reality in the Mughal treat of rice and tender meat that is fit for royalty. Recently, they shifted to a place across the road and smartened up the interiors, but the familiarity is still there: the same old smiling waiters and the menu. The menu still features korma, Irani Chaanp, Mutton Rezala, Fish Pudina and Fish Afghani. However, some feel that the food lacks the old zing... and people wonder, was it the place or the food that created the magic? But their food is still very good and they have other counters - take-away orders - over town, all fed by the same kitchen.

every week i make it a point to have dinner at shiraz, especially with family.the biryani,chap,kababs all are excellent.in the past ,mostly we took away food.but now with better ac ambience and cheap but delicious food siraz is the best place for moghlai
