The name is interesting and unusual, you have to hand it to them. Kaafila... the gypsy nomads in Afghani bazaars. This place is dedicated to them and the ambience too is just like them: colourful, festive and rustic. This theme is carried on to the food as well. Kebabs, rich gravies and tender raans. Don't miss the Paneer Kurchan, Noorani Machhi, Kandahari Raan, Kaandani Naan (huge sharing portion), Murgh Sufiyani and the dry fruit Boulawnee, as a dessert. Just make sure you have ample time for a leisurely meal, like the nomads would have. A bit on the expensive side too, but it's worth it. Good food, good decor.

Kaafila is a feeling of North west frontier recreated here in City of Joy. This place is simply rustic, multicolored and very bright that creates a festive mood.
Kebabs, raans and gravies are its specialties, just do not miss Noorani Machhi, Kaandani Raan and Naan, Paneer Kurchan, Murgh Sufiyani.
To wind up the meal they have dry fruit Boulawnee in dessert. For good food lovers in the city Kaafila is a hot spot.

Small and cosy place decorated like an Arabian Tent with Carpets and Rugs. Murgh Ki Hari Kalmi and Tandoori Gosht Ke Sekua are ideal starters and the Gosht really melts into your mouth - true Afgani style. Keema Shehzaada just one more good dish on offer. Tried Lababdar Reshmi but was a bit on the sweeter side. Enjoy the Sweet Pan while leaving the place. Bad Thing is that you may have to wait an hour or two to get a place during Weekends as they do not book seats over telephone.
