It won't be incorrect to call Cafe Coffee Day or CCD the modern adda zone, if the youngsters that lounge in these outlets are anything to go by. It is all about the space and the mood. Cosy sitting areas with bean bags, sofas and tables as centres of conversations, the CCDs with their trademark colourful-purple-and-red decor, encourage lounging around with friends on a lazy afternoon with loud music, wall-mounted TV and your laptop. Their locations are also good for a quick meeting over coffee/tea - but be prepared for self-service, as most of the places sport a signage in the last few months! The menu features coffee, pure and blended, hot and cold, fruity concoctions and slurpy sundaes. Sandwiches and puffs, cookies and brownies. Nothing gourmet here but affordable prices and quick service. A happy and noisy place.
