Old-world charm, authentic Chinese aroma, familiarity of the menu — all score high at Mandarin. The Chicken Clear Soup, Golden-fried Prawns, Pepper Fish and Prawn Balls rate very high, as do the Cantonese dishes like Chicken Cantonese Rice, Fried Tofu in Soya Sauce and Mixed Cantonese Chow. What it needs to improve upon is the ambience, the decor and service

I would say that the food was without fault, quantities big, and price cheap.
Ordered sweet&sour chicken and prawn hakka chow, both were good.
Don't expect much when it comes to service or ambience though. The decor is poor, service average. The waiters dirty shirt was not properly tucked and as a result one could see his bare pot belly, an unpleasing sight.
Also don't think that they serve alcohol.
Might go again, just for the cheap and tasty food.
