Finally, an answer to your cravings for Kerala Pepper Fry! This small, dainty joint in Manohar Pukur has finally arrived with an array of awesome Kerala delights. Started by Mrs Menon, who is also new to the city, Ammini presents a neat and smallish menu... but enough to satisfy you. For starters, go for the fluffy idlis, Paniyarappams or Adai Dosas. These come with an assortment of chutneys: the Coconut with Green Chilli Chutney, the Pink or Red Chilli Coconut Chutney or the Spicy Onion Chutney. The choice of dishes for the main course is simple - Potato Stew for vegetarians and the Spicy Dry Mutton or Kerala Kozhi Curry for non-vegetarians - with plain, hot Appams or Iddiappams. And that’s not all: on weekends there are specials, like Avial, Korma, Fish Curry, Brown Stew and Payasam!

Ammini is not at all Bengali for a change it is about Kerala and their amazing food. Their Red Chilli Coconut Chutney is a perfect side dish that I always look forward to. Spicy Dry Mutton and Kozhi Curry is perfect mouth watering food of this restaurant. Do try the Fish Curry which is prepared differently and Ammini is a must visit.

Kimmini is flavor of Keralaite cuisine in the city. The menu is not too exhaustive but the foods that they serve are magical in flavor. I came to this place few days back and really want to come to this place again and again. I had Spicy Dry Mutton, Fish Curry and also Red Chilli Coconut Chutney. Ammini is a different flavor in the city and it is a great gastronomic joy to come here.

Ammini is a small establishment with a menu that has limited options for diners. Still, whatever is being offered here is authentically prepared that brings Kerala closer to Kolkata in terms of food.
Adai Dosas, idlis and Paniyarappams are good and Potato Stew, Spicy Dry Mutton, Kerala Kozhi Curry are dishes that are completely delightful in Ammini.
