In times when love is a multi-million industry, even the business of separation can be profitable employment. Lots of divorce lawyers would say that. But Sid is a divorce expert with a difference. He seduces the unfaithful and passes on the evidence. Even pehelwans from Haryana take his help to rid themselves of desperate wives. All this means a fab pay cheque in return. And his professional life only gets better when he hooks up with Sonali (Bipasha Basu). Together they become top jodi breakers.
But Sid's own life is a mess. He is tired of paying alimony to his much-separated wife. And when she offers him a deal -- drive a wedge between a happy couple (Milind Soman and Dipannita Sharma) and he can get whatever he wants -- Sid falls for it. And that lands him in a bigger mess.
At first glance, Jodi Breakers has a lot going for it: an unusual and interesting lead pair, fabulous outdoor location (Greece, in this case) and foot-stomping music. But the movie is let down by a script that lacks fizz and connect. Director Ashwini Chaudhary's venture begins as a comedy but gradually morphs into romance and loses momentum in the second half. Not even Helen can perk things up. Romance as remorse doesn't work here.
A couple of one-liners do work --- Omi Vaidya is called Nano because he is small, sweet and affordable -- but overall, the gags are sub-par. Vaidya gets to repeat his hilarious 'misreading' of a text as in Three Idiots with slight variations. But it is not half as funny. Elsewhere, Madhavan bursts into an operation theatre where a patient is about to undergo a heart operation and gets chatting with the doctors. It is meant to be zany but the scene ends up being asinine.
Jodi Breakers isn't entirely without merit though. Madhavan is earnest. And Bipasha looks stunning, especially in the scenes shot in Greece. The romantic scenes between the two have a coy intensity. Together they try to make the film better than it actually is. And the track named Bipasha has spunk and rhythm though Kunwara is likely to be the chartbuster. But it simply isn't enough.

Very nice movie..... specially the sequence shot in Greece... though the end was sloppy .....but overall it is an amazing movie ..... watch it .....i loved all the songs...full marks to the music composer....

Its a ok movie. One time watch .Not bad ..... It was fun to watch Bipasha and Maddy who were paired together for the first time in a hindi movie.... Nice concept...though it could have been executed in abetter manner.... my rating is 3 stars .....

It is an awesome movie...specially the drunken scene of bipasha basu and r madhavan .... i enjoyed the movie thoroughly .... its an out and out romantic comedy.... please watch.... its a fairly good rom com.... r madhavan is amazing in the movie so is bipasha basu....

Surprisingly, the plots of movies coming out, don't seem to be different, but life is life, it cannot be more or less than what it is. I don't think it was difficult making the plot, but the movie is extremely nice. Actually, Madhavan makes an unusual male lead, but he is every bit the male lead. Bipasha emotes very well. All the actors are very good. I would say, go watch the movie.

The movie is awesome. Bipasha looks like a million bucks...and madhavan's acting is effortless. Plus after a long long haul we get to see the first suprmodel of India , handsome hunk "Milind Soman" in a role which suits him ably supported by Dippanita Sharma. The soundtrack of the movie is awesome. Songs like "Jab mein Tumhare saath hoon"....and "Mujkho Teri Zaroorat Hai ".... take your breath away. Plus chartbusters like "Kunwara" and "Bipasha...Bipasha" are nice as well... Only the end is a little stretched and sloppy...but please tell me which movie doesnt have little flaws..... overall its a nice entertaining movie...... thumbs up ....please watch it .....

Nice movie. I liked it. The concept is very good. Bipasha and Madhavan have done good work. Great to see Helen after so long. We all had an exciting experience at Wave Cinemas. Good overall entertainment.

This is a very poor and cheap B grade moview. I would suggest all not to waste their time and money on such a movie.

Its actually a nice movie.. didnt have any expection going for it.. but i'd say the 1st half itself is paisa vasool.. watching d 2nd half is ovr and above !!!

Totally agree, waste of time and terrible dialogue, implausible story and terrible acting all-around, esp Soman and Helen. Songs are decent, was very impressed with Dipannita Sharma - quietly elegant and wasted in an awful movie!

Madhavan looks yuck! a real eye sore.. swollen face and a waist that's heading only one way.. and what an odd pairing with Bips... Poor girl, she's fallen on hard times I guess to pair with a non-hero!

no its copied from Ram teri ganga maili ;-) . It doesn't matter from where it copied ,you are not examiner for checking answer sheet. Just go and see the movie and if you feel it is entertaining(not thinking about any other thing in 2.30hr)then it is good movie otherwise a bad movie.

The concept was good but the flow of the movie doesn't go that way as it should have gone. Very good in beginning but very slow in the end. Madhavan and Bips put strong performances but I have to say that they needed better direction. Omi Vaidya was fabulous as he was in 3 Idiots. Overall, an average movie.
