If you love the rustic flavour of a North Indian highway dhaba, you'll enjoy sitting on NH-1 Kitchen and Bar's charpais under Andheri's starry sky and soaking in the aroma of spicy kebabs and curries. Perfect ambience, well-stocked bar, good price points and an awesome menu. Skip Chinese and Thai, but if adventure calls, Thai Rawas Chilli and Thai Curry won't disappoint. Kebabs and curries have a distinct Delhi flavour. Kumbh ka Mela, Murgh Highway Tari and Keema Kaleji are in demand! Diverse menu includes Lazeez Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Bhuna Hari Mirch, Dahi Lahsuni Tikka, Makhmali Kebab, Stuffed Mushrooms, Naram Dil ke Kebab, Crispy Garlic Mushroom and Baby Potato. There is Seafood Platter too. If you're in a hurry, enjoy a 10 per cent discount on your takeaway order.

NH-1 was amongst the first North Indian joints to come up this side of Andheri and truly has served up to its name.. The food is typically punjabi dhaba style food... punjabi kadi deserves a special mention which we sweared about when it started serving.. Just next to our office, we have made numerous trips to this joint.. which is big brother of famous Kebab corner with spacious, reasonable ambience..Bamboo roof, charpais... and little mini lights on the ceiling, with lamps hanging on the table make it good enough to enjoy evening with friends... The food is economical, not too costly and so are the drinks... A meal for 2 with drinks won't cross 1k... worth a evening if you can bear the noise which increases in decibels as the evening passes.. NH-1 doubles up as a bar for a lot of office goers at night.. and even in afternoon at times!!! so avoid choosing it for a family trip... They Home deliver too, just in case you really want to sample something with family in nearby vicinity.. I would recommend their Indian- both Veg and Non- Veg variety... and Chinese/Thai can be given a skip unless you really want it... In terms of service, thats stricly mediocre and infact the only part which makes us think a few times before heading to NH-1... Almost every time we have been there, the stewards have messed up either with food or seating and if nothing with their rude behavior ( on more than one occasion)... however, if you can tolerate a little delay in serving and not so attentive stewards.. you won't mind it.. May be atleast one of us was fussy about service each time.. or may be others wud have already adjusted to their nuisance in earlier trips... Still make a dash.. if you want to enjoy Punjabi Dhaba food.. at reasonable price.. with friends.. or a drink... Enjoy...

Bringing out the flavour of a North Indian highway dhaba. The NH-1 Kitchen & Bar has the perfect ambience and serves great food . I specially like their chicken preparations. They serve amazing thai too.
