It maybe named after the perfect temperature for champagne, but there is nothing scientific or cut and dried about this glamorous venue at The Leela hotel. Champange-and-vodka walls, mysterious lighting and sheers in the relaxed wooden interiors. Add to this a lit-up fountain, waterfall, palm trees and gazebo kitchen dazzling the outdoors. Champagne cocktails and Vodka Martinis are the stars at this stylish venue. With a whopping 32 varieties, the Vodka Caipiroska with Raspberry thrills. Scotch, malt whiskies and wines by the glass too. The favourite martinis here include Tamarind, Apple and Watermelon. Try the Choco or Lemondrop for a difference. Black Russian, Kamakaze, Suzy Wong and Masquerade are popular too. Other speciality drinks include Long Island Ice Tea and Lemon Grass Martini. Nibble on the complementary Salty or Masala Peanuts, or choose from popular Indian starters (Chicken Tikka, Murgh Seekh Kebab), Continental (live barbecue counter between Sept and May) or Chinese (Crab Meat Dim Sum, Crystal Veg Dumplings). DJ Vineet Dave will keep you entertained with his unique blend of house and lounge music. With the introduction of Poolside Barbecue recently, it has added a new dimension to Six Degrees.

Had been to this place last week and I am really not too impressed. Though they boast a wide variety of beers, I guess the boasting is limited to the print on the menu. The waiter proudly informed us that half the beers printed on the menu werent available. We ordered from the remaining half only to be informed 3 minutes later that those too didnt exist. Finally our choice was restricted to 25% and we settled down for Birra Moretti and good old KingFisher. For the starters, we had Paneer Tikka, Harissa Fried Fish, Seekh Kabab Gilafi and Malabar prawns all of which were good. We were seated in the lawn and the ambience was pretty good. However, what disappointed the most was the absolutely poor service as the waiters werent even bothered. Every time, we would have to look around and yell for a waiter, be it for food or for re-fills. Considering the lack of variety and the poor service coming at a very exorbitant price tag, I guess I have to rate this place average and I wouldnt be tempted to go back again.
