Glamorously lit up with stacks of glass and stones, Hyatt Regency's contemporary twin-levelled restaurant is as spiffy as ever. As the book goes to press, I walk in for a quick check out and find the talented Chef Alessio Banchero from Genoa bustling away in the interactive open kitchen. In the short but comprehensive menu, there is plenty for vegetarians. Superlative Canneloni and Ravioli are his specialties. Must try the Canelloni (with spinach rolled into the dough) Ricotta Sauce and Mushrooom Bechamel and the Ravioli with Ricotta Cheese and Saffron. The crunch of almonds make it memorable. Spaghetti Lobster Black Olive and Tenderloin with Foie Gras are recommended. But it's the Pan-seared Seabass with Caramelized Caperberries balanced with Lemon, Asparagus and Potatoes that comes out tops. End with Panna Cotta Cooked Cream Lemon Zest for that perfect finale. You can look forward to a wine pairing with wines of the world. To keep things fresh, in the spirit of Italian cooking, they change their menu every three months, so call ahead to find out more about their latest creations. The glamorous first-floor Stax bar is worth a visit.rnP.S. They also have whole wheat gluten-free pasta.

the impressive and opulent ambiance, perfect hospitality and awesome food are all you can expect here....they serve amazingly prepared food items....service of the place is fast and friendly....also, the decor is relaxing and beautiful

Stax has impressive Canneloni as well as Rivioli for you besides a number of Italian delicacies. Spaghetti Lobster Black Olive and Tenderloin with Foie Gras my regular dose of pleasure in Stax. There are other Italian restaurants in Mumbai but somehow i always love coming to Stax.

I have been here twice and each time, the Italian fare has been pretty good. The risotto's here are a must have. We sank our teeth in Jumbo Prawn Risotto,Roasted Arborio Rice and stuffed pasta and it all tasted delicious. The food was perfectly spiced and tasty.This restaurant is definately worth trying out.
