This vibrant 24/7 restaurant of The Leela is all set to introduce Japanese specialities soon. Bathed by daylight let in by the floor-to-ceiling windows with their view of the lush green outdoor and cascading waterfalls is a show kitchen which sits at the heart of the restaurant. Make it a point to request for a table by the large French windows which lets in a view of the greenery and waterfalls. Along with the usual fare, Citrus serves dedicated and outstanding South Indian flavours delivered by specialized chefs. Ask for the Appam and Ishtew, Allepey Fish Curry, Taher Sadam. The old favourites remain the the unerringly Pan-seared Chilean Sea Bass, Garlic Potato Flan, Broccoli and Caper Olive Sauce and for the health conscious, the Wholewheat Spaghetti in Bolognaise Sauce. And they work magic with the buffets too (Breakfast Buffet for `1,150, Lunch Buffet for `1,750, Dinner Buffet for `1,850 and Soup ‘n’ Salad Buffet for `1,225 and the Dessert Buffet for `1,075) which invariably has interesting and unusual dishes. Pizzas (straight from the wood-fired oven) are hugely popular as are Paneer Makhni, Chicken Tikka Makhni and pastas. They have a separate Thai counter for Thai dishes. The Sunday Brunch with a live DJ (`2,750 plus taxes with alcohol) which is always sold out. Home-made sorbets... Raspberry, Lemon Mint and Mango are the other hot-sellers here.

Food - 9.5 / 10Setting / Ambience - 8 / 10Service - 6 / 10Responsive of Staff - 5 / 10Will i return? - id visit Zen and/or Jamavar first (and i dont dine at Leela every other evening!)my rating(s) above is based on my perception of the overall experience (which includes food, service, ambiance, menu options and responsiveness and attention of the staff). my overall experience was NOT a wow considering it is a 5-star facility! i am not sure if that is the par or my expectations were too high...or a combination of both.we went there on a week night and opted to order off the menu. (i am not sure if they offer dinner buffet on week nights.) we were a group of three and we asked for the following -- - smoked scottish salmon- cold mezze - chicken shawarma- - samak makhli- jumbo tiger prawns (grilled)i am not going to harp too much on the food because citrus offers a wide variety of cuisines and people have their personal tastes and choices. but to me, all the items were good as i had expected them to be.what i did NOT find exceptional was the SERVICE and the attention and responsiveness of the waiting staff. and considering the brand, it left a lot to be deserved!! the outdoor seating comes with small lamps on each table. unfortunately, the lamp on our table went out midway thru our starters. we requested them to change the same; it took a good 20 mins or so and 2 reminders to get another one! we asked for an extra side plate and it took them a neat 6-7 mins to get one. given a chance, id rather visit Zen or Jamawar or another restaurant within Leela before Citrus again.

Dishes: Samak Makli

Tips: Get a table reserved before going,Has outdoor seating,Good place for couples,Offers free Wi-Fi,Good place for business meetings,Accepts reservations

They've just introduced a Japanese menu and an a la carte menu that is bringing in more and more people in. The luscious Mangalorean Fish Curry with Appams, Angus Beef Burger, Spaghetti Napolitana, and Pizza Primavera get our vote. n its a great and lovely place for ur family.
