The samurai swords, gleaming brass and warm tones set off by Chinese vases at Andheri's Legacy of China don't have as many admirers as they once did. But it remains a popular kitty party destination and offers 10 per cent discounts in addition to seafood (try Chilli Garlic Crabmeat) in jumbo sizes. Robustly spiced Pepper Blasted Prawns, Garlic Fish and Devil's Chicken are all tuned to the Indian palate. I am pleasantly surprised with the well-prepared Red Thai Curry. Festivals and candlelight dinners (Tuesdays and Thursdays) continue. It may not be the strongest legacy with standard fare (some patchy dishes), but it's a pleasant experience.

Legacy of China is keeping to it's name and serves good authentic chinese cuisine. I ordered Pepper Blasted Prawns ,devil's Chicken and thai Red Curry and were quite spiced up but delicious. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The food was hot and was served on time.
