The authentic flavours and taste of Anjan Chatterji's superb Bangla sweets will transport you straight to Kolkata. Abar Khabo, Kheer Kadam and Sondesh are my all-time favourites. From May to July, you'll find their Mango Mishti Doi and Strawberry Rabadi (seasonal). The Kheer Kadam is the star here! Popular, especially during the festival seasons are Dry-fruit Sweets, Kaju Katli, Rasmalai, Rasgoulla and more. Jaggery items are available throughout the year so try Jol Dhoi (liquid jaggery inside) and others. The sweets here are not heavy on your tummies, especially fresh paneer sweets in comparison to mawa or malai. They use less sugar and avoid any sort of artificial or natural colour to the fare. Freshness is guaranteed because they have their own centralized kitchen in Dadar from where sweets are made fresh daily and transported to all their branches. You'll find it difficult to choose from the Kalojaam, Chhannar Payesh and Sitabhog. Decorative Sondesh and Sondesh for diabetics are also available.

I visited this place with my sister. I had vegetable roll and for sweets I had kesar rajbhog and badam pista rasbhari. My sister took green peas kachori and aloo tarkari and malai roll. The taste was good but the price was a bit high. It is fine to have items from this place once in a while.
