If you happen to be in Andheri East, trying to pick between Indian, Chinese and seafood, think no more... Regency is your answer. A stained-glass ceiling and mirrored columns set the tone for the interiors - all dimly lit; the food is served in copper vessels. Spicy Indian (Jain options too) and Indian Chinese fare both live together in harmony on the menu here, while myriad crab dishes find a space between them - Butter Garlic, Salt ānā Pepper, Oyster Sauce and Bhuna. All in all, the Indian fare is the better of the three - Chicken Rajdhani, Chicken Deewani Handi, Paneer Makhanwala and Dal Fry are all good; specialities include Bhuna Mutton, Lijaat Chicken, Chicken Palguni and Palak Kofta. Vegetarians are not forgotten, Shyam Savera Koftas, Methi Sprout and Paneer Kali Mirch Masala keep them happy. Plenty of pleasures for your sweet tooth - Rasmalai, Sitaphal Kulfi, Kulfi Faluda, Pineapple Roll Ice Cream and Honey Noodles with Ice Cream. There is a nice garden outside for those waiting for a table, though even on busy days, the restaurant can comfortably seat 135.rn
