At this very basic 127-year-old Colaba eatery, interesting (and important) signs announce do's and don'ts: ”Food may not be served to drunk person”/ ”Please do not wash hands in plate”/”Please do not sit for long time”. Sit at a worn-out, mica-topped table in this basic, no-frills eatery, soak up the cacophony of the Colaba bylanes and eat out of a plastic plate. Try the flavoursome Paya with Dry Khabouz. It is Chicken and Mutton Khichda on Fridays & Saturdays; Chicken Kashmiri Dabba Gosht on Sundays; Chicken Do Pyaza on Mondays; Chicken White on Tuesdays; Chicken Shimla on Wednesdays and Chicken Patiala on Thursdays; but most regulars demand the large, succulent Chicken Fry served with large crisp Khabouz. Mutton Dal, Beef Biryani, Prawn Biryani, Dudhi Chana and Aloo Matar are hot-sellers, with none exceeding Rs. 100. Chicken Biryani and Chicken Bhuna are famous too

When one of my friends recommended this place for Chicken to me, I didn't believe any of the things they said about the quality of food at first.
But I was wrong.
After my first meal at 'Bagdadi' I can't possibly think of any other place for Chicken.
Other than chicken, caramel desert is worth every penny you pay.
I strongly recommend you pay a visit to Bagdadi.

Any chicken lover should put this place on his must visits. It is not too spicy and stomach filling. The biriyani is awesome. And also very cheap compared to Navi Mumbai. And the fastest service seen too:)
