Attention Malwani fare fans! Tucked away in the quiet Gandhi Nagar corner of Bandra East, Sadichha is a family-run gem. It is Sulochana, Madhav, Kamalkar and Gaurish Deshpande's labour of love - they carefully source all the seafood served in this pinewood-benches-and-tables eatery (with fans whirring overhead) themselves. Crab Thali (Rs. 125), Teesrya Masala Thali (Rs. 125) and Teesrya Sukka Thali (Rs. 130) just begin to showcase the variety here. Gaboli, Mandoli, Surmai, Pomfret, Rawas, Bangda and more! Patal Bhaji, Jowar Bhakri, delicious Dry Bombil, flavourful Crab Masala (Rs. 90) and Sukka Jawala (Rs. 65) - a dish made of tiny prawns - are tasty reasons that compel me to revisit. Mutton Sukka and Komdi Vade are superb! Go early to get your pick of the lot and remember, rates and menus vary as per the daily catch.
