Persian Darbar's purdah system (separate cabin for those who would rather dine in private) is popular with its regulars at Bandra and Byculla. As is the reasonably priced, predominantly (average) non-veg fare served on very basic table and benches. If you are a group of four or more, order the Raan (Arabian and Indian style) and fulfil all your carnivore dreams at this second-generation-owned eatery. Raan varieties vary: Biryani (Rs. 1,290), Fried Rice (Rs. 1,350), Tiranga (Rs. 1,390). Byculla is the bigger branch, featuring mosaic-tiled glasswork and a separate air-conditioned section, while Bandra is crammed, with very little elbow room. Nothing exceptional or worth recommending, but the usual Mughlai and Arabian dishes are all available for your dining pleasure, should you choose to visit - Reshmi Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken (which they say is famous), Chicken Tikka Masala, Dabba Gosht and biryanis in addition to the usual Kali Mirch Kebab, Murgh Nizami/Zaffran/Reshmi/Malai Kebabs, and Murgh Tikka. Check out their Friday Special of Mutton Roast Masala (Rs. 290).

I am writing this with my own personal experience.
I visited this place, for lunch.
Thinking it would be a clean and decent place because of its location.
But it was the most unpleasant experience ever.
It all started after the food was served. Me my wife and my son were eating and suddenly we saw cockroaches crawling on the wall. We immediately called the waiter and he explained that we just completed our pest control yesterday, therefore a few roaches are seen. He also explained that we were supposed to close the restaurant today, but our Boss told us to open it. In the meantime the BOSS arrived and when we complained to him he was so rude and started claiming our complain as if we wanted to eat FREE food. I just threw the money on the table and walked out.
The Municipal authorities should once be not corrupt and close this place for good.
BEWARE if you eat there.
