Tripadelic tables, pop murals, lava lamps, love seats, Andy Warhol, all bathed in mithai-pink red light in the indoor section of Bandra's Mocha Mojo. It's rocking and packed to the seams. Even the outdoor area with “make love not war” sofas is buzzing with diners. Wines (Sparkling, White, Red, Blush 'n' Rose), beers (Kingfisher, Hoegarden, et al), bucketfuls of chocolate desserts, paninis, bagels and what-nots smothered in melted cheese and more…. Accompany your drinks with well-made paninis (try the Garden Veggies and Cheddar Cheese Melt), bagels (Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese recommended) and Wild Mushroom Linguini cooked to perfection. Mocha Mojo is obviously much more than a super 70s-themed restaurant - it has an energy and life which goes way beyond that. And therein lies the key to its success.

Mojo is not just added to their name, it’s also sprinkled over everything in this Bandra outlet. The 70’s mood is present in little details and that’s why this café has become our fave hangout post work. The raw food offerings and healthy organic dishes actually taste good and come listed with calorie content! But we relish their fresh fruit & vegetable juices especially the Fruit From The Tropics and Watermelon & Guava and Panini’s through the weekday and hog on beer and bagels over the weekend.

What I loved the most about Mocha Mojo was the entire ambience and the outlook of the place. I was completely taken aback. As it was really hot so I sipped on a watermelon & guava smoothie which was just too awesome and ate the best honey & mustard glazed Panini ever. For all you sports lovers out there, Mojo is screening all the major sports events & has a Foosball table as well. In all a super fun experience.

I woke up late last Saturday morning craving for a good breakfast and wondering where I could go that would give me just that. Just then I remembered that Mocha Mojo in Bandra serves all-day breakfast! So I headed there with a book for company and what a perfect breakfast it was! The egg white omelette with added cheese & mushrooms and a slice of toast on the side was completely yummy. Added to that was the fresh orange and celery juice and my Saturday couldn’t have started any better!
PS: Btw, they also have free Wi Fi! :)
