All set to redefine luxury is this super-colossal European-renaissance-meets-Indian-royalty nightclub. As the book goes to press, Mumbai’s much-hyped Royalty opens it’s palatial 10,000sq ft of space again... this time without Shilpa Shetty but with equal pomp and splendour. Walk down the opulent grand staircase to be greeted by an intricately decorated lion and get ready for a plethora of choices. The sheer size and scale of the main clubbing area with it's extensive use of gold-leafing and oxygen pumping machines: the elevated levels of the Members VIP area (with its own bar and service) there’s a VVIP area (decorated by Designer Rocky S) overlooking the club too. DJ Lloyd, DJ Amyth & DJ Willy, theme nights, International acts are all in the pipeline. Will there be hope behind the royal hype? Mumbai waits and watches.rnP.S.
