A branch of the Juhu "On Toes", One Above On Toes is the usual resto-bar that is large, brightly lit, air-conditioned and pleasantly appointed. Nothing great, but nothing lousy either. Walk through a narrow entrance and the small, dimly lit empty bar. Grab a table by the window overlooking Linking Road. They have a good choice of cocktails (Long Island Iced Tea, Mojito, Margarita, Pina Colada, Bloody Mary) and mocktails (Peachy Sunrise, Blue Breeze, April Lady, Like a Virgin). Hard liquor, beer and wines also. A DJ spins music every day from 6.30pm onwards. To accompany your drinks, they offer fried bhindi and peanuts. For something more substantial, zero-in on the succulent, well-spiced Bhuna Gosht over the Galouti which is not as melt-in-the-mouth as we'd have liked. Well-made Chicken Kebabs, tangy and crispy Palak Papdi Chaat. Service is really slow!
