The "Bar and Grill" tag pushes "Clove" into Mediterranean dreams, but they began with Mughlai fare exclusively and have only recently introduced a European/Global menu featuring dishes like Bacon and Cheese Chicken, Pepper Steak, Tomato Soup and an interesting array of desserts (that I have not tried yet). Although I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend the kebabs from the Mughlai menu, they are the best. Skip Seekh kebab and head straight for the robustly spiced Kali Miri Kebab and succulent Chicken Tikka. Load up on appetizers and skip the Mughlai main courses - Chicken Bharta was too greasy, Dal lacklustre and Achaari Bhindi too spicy. Average fare, but certainly in pleasant surroundings with large windows, even though the view is of the teeming, trafficky Ambedkar Road.
