Just Around The Corner changes its name to "Eat Around the Corner" and changes its ownership and management too. It retains the casual and relaxed feel of an American diner (with open-throughout-the-day convenience). They serve wholesome comfort food - reasonably priced and standard fare, most of it self-serve. Self-service (American - style, laid-out like buffet) where you pay individually. Soups, salads are available through the day. Starting with breakfast (American:Rs. 450, French: Rs. 210, English: Rs. 320), it serves Lunch in 6 themes — Thai, Caribbean, Mexican, International, Italian, Greek. Soup, salad, sandwiches and pizzas (2 veg and non-veg), hot dishes, fresh desserts, croissants for Dinner. Sandwiches, burgers and pizzas are generously portioned and ordered la carte. NY Chocolate Cake, Californian Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse, Croissants, Blueberry Cheesecake, Mars Bar Cheesecake, Baked Lemon Cheesecake are the popular desserts.

Few weeks ago, I got a chance to be the part of a Bead Making workshop held at Eat Around The Corner. I am so glad I cancelled my plans for the day and made it to the workshop. We got to see the humongous kitchen with Chef Chetan and Sunil from the inside, and one can only look forward to tasting the goodies while basking in the freshly baked bread aromas in the kitchen. I personally believe that the bread intake culture in our country is forcibly enclosed inside a commercial brand capsule, much like our perfectly square bread slices are, which are available at our local kiraana store. But EATC is a pleasant change, a fresh breeze of air with their wide selection of freshly baked breads. If you thought EATC was all about bread and desserts, you are mistaken, for EATC houses nutritious and fresh Salads, Fresh baked Cookies, All day Breakfasts, Pizzas, Pastas, and more. I thought the Pizza was very mediocre but the Scrambled Eggs with Sundried Tomatoes on Garlic Bread won me over. Afterall, a restaurant is not just about great food, it has to be a complete package and this is where EATC over-delivers, with their bright white interiors, spacious decor, lovely music and heart warming smiles on the faces of the staff who are always ready to help! I will be visiting this place frequently even if it is far from where I live!

Few weeks ago I had the chance to stop by Eat Around The Corner for a Bread Making Workshop. I am glad I did, because it was a faith restoring experience for me.

I personally think that the bread intake culture in our country has gone grossly wrong. And in this era, EATC is like a breath of fresh air, bringing in freshly baked produce which is not mass manufactured.

I got a chance to interact with the Chefs Chetan and Sunil, who were kind enough to open the doors of their kitchen for us and show us how its done. When you know a kitchen functions so impeccably on the inside, the final product has got to be good.

The selection of food at EATC pretty much covers everything that an average Bandra person would love to have. From fresh Salads to All Day Breakfast, from a selection of Freshly Baked Breads to Yummy Desserts, they have got it all.

Although the Pizza I had was just average, it was more than made up for with the most outstanding Red Velvet Cake with the creamiest, no-nonsense cream cheese frosting. Little did I know that the best was yet to come, when I tried their Baked Lime Cheesecake. I am so happy that I got to experience this heavenly goodness and I will definitely be going back for more.
