I love to cheer Maithili Sawant on. Her small and tidy, irregularly shaped, basic table-and-bench, air-conditioned Bandra eatery continues to serve VFM Gomantak food from Sawantwadi. The silken Kesar Kharvas (made of first milk) dessert is good. There is an All Veg Thali (Rs. 99) too. Go early to check out this Coastal eatery's crisp Fry Fish with lots of nimbu, King Prawns Masala, Shellfish Masala, Fish Achaar and Fish Tikka (all kinds of seafood here: Pomfret, Bangda, Surmai, Shellfish, Crabs and Prawns). North Indian fare now makes a menu appearance in the form of rice, Veg/Chicken (Wed, Fri, Sun) and Prawn Pulaos, Bhindi Masala, Chhole Masala and Baingan Bharta. But Saayba will always remain synonymous with seafood. Parking is almost impossible, but I'll always return; I've been enjoying her honest Gomantak cooking for almost two decades now.

This restaurant serves good food.
King Prawns Masala, Shellfish with Drumsticks, Fish Achaar and Fish Tikka tastes amazingly well.
That restaurant has a more home-run feel to it. All in all a great place to try out seafood. Total value for money.
