As the book goes to press, I am informed that they are changing the menu in Mumbai's beautiful bungalow. This bungalow sprawls in different directions... a lounge bar, a terrace and private dining rooms too. Fans whirr within the high-ceilinged bungalow, potted palms and plants dot the rooms lit with the dappled light of lanterns hanging from pillars. Co-owned by Anselm and Leonys Pereira and Sanjay Vazirani (of Foodlink Services, checkout the review in Caterers section) it offers you a choice to either sit beneath the stars in the lively courtyard or go for a quiet dinner in the elegant indoors. A gentle breeze wafts amid the lush mango and chikoo trees outside. There's plenty of action and entertainment everyday of the week.... don't miss out on the special Wednesday Bar9 nites with the special offers for one and all. The chef's long and winding menu zigzags into many countries around the world and is culled from his travels. He zigzags and journeys between the Mediterranean and parts of Europe to Japan,Italy to Thailand. Sri Lanka too. Stick to Italy and you’ll be glad you did. Fresh ingredients and robust flavours mark his Italian cooking. Ask for the thin-crust pizza (many an option) and risottos. Unerringly cooked al dente pasta, (request for them to go light on the sauce, unless you like it this way) Many a creative combination goes into the rolling of the sushi, and ditto for some other such ambitious creations - be it appetizers or salads or mains. The Norwegian salmon or malbec braised new Zealand lamb shanks, or grilled Australian black snapper is delightful. The desserts carry through this magic. Unusual ingredients and equally unusual marriages... try the Grand Marnier chocolate volcano or even the chefs signature dark Madagascar Chocolate Ice Cream is fabulous with (hold your breath) the drizzle of olive oil, rosemary and a sprinkle of sea salt. Banquets with varied packages to suit all your requirements... make your special day even more memorable at Bungalow 9.

Set in a bungalow this restaurant has undeniable charm that works fabulously for this place. At to that charm there are special nights and very delicious food that pulls me right to this place when I feel like celebrating anything with family or otherwise. Their thin crust pizza, Garlic Soup is fine and very much awesome in taste.
It’s a must visit restaurant for the food and of course the ambience.
