It was 15 years ago that I first ate in this tiny and basic eatery that was doing brisk business then. The space has expanded and become more elegant since then, a sign of its popularity. Beige sofas and a cosy ambience with Thai fare tuned in to suit the Indian palate. Succulent Chicken Satay, fragrant Tom Yum Soup, and tangy Papaya Salad here. Do try the creamy, coconutty Green Curry. Well loved and justifiably so. Thai Spicy Rice with Basil, Pad Thai Noodles and Plara Prik Fish are all popular with the regulars. Some of the dishes are heaped over with gook, though. The Chinese section (skip please) has the usuals like the Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Hunan Chicken, Blackbean Chicken and Hakka Noodles. Finish with the yummy Tub Tim Grob (water chestnuts in coconut milk served with crushed ice). Chocolate Lava is the new addition to the dessert menu featuring Chocolate Mousse and Tiramisu. P.S. Enjoy a 10 per cent discount on home delivery.rn

Thai Ban deserves its reputation as the best Thai restaurant in the Mumbai Suburbs. Its menu ranges way beyond the standard Thai eatery, offering bold, authentic Thai flavors. If you love Thai food, this is the place to go. My personal favorites here: In
Favorite Dishes / Drinks: Satay Kai (Chicken satay avec peanut sauce),Neua Phak Chee (Strips of crispy beef tenderloin avec crushed coriander),Chicken Gaeng Phed (Chicken red curry,Thai),Khao Prao (Steamed rice),

Thai Ban serves as an good option when you are craving for some real good Thai food. I have been there for more than a couple of times and have returned mighty pleased every time. Their creamy, coconutty Green Curry and papaya salad tastes awesome. The service was very quick and was helpful.
