Wanton House has withstood the test of time to prove that the typical menu of momos, steamed wantons and chicken dumplings and more will never fail. This wooden-floored, cosy, old-world Chinese restaurant with red lanterns, et al. even shows patrons how to use chopsticks. The speciality here is a Squid Salt 'n' Pepper dish. Well-flavoured Schezwan-style food without too much spice or Indian overtones reigns supreme here, whether it's Chicken in Oyster Sauce, Red Pepper Chicken, Chicken Chilli, Drums of Heaven, Spring Rolls or Crispy Spinach Chicken. Mixed Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles provide standard main course fare, but portions here are generous.
