Nizam Asaf Jah's photograph continues to welcome patrons here, but the preparation and quality aren't as consistent as they were a decade ago. Patthar ke Gosht (Rs.380) is one of the better options. New on the menu are Machhli Korma Nizami, Machhi ke Achaare and Jhinge Yakouti. Hari Daal is their speciality and Tomato Kut is another dish they recommend. Kabuli Biryani and Subzi Motiya (with corn) are unique items, as is the Luqmi Kebab (with spicy potato) and Onion Seekh Kebab. Usual Shorbas, Murgh Khalmi and Malmali Seekh Kebabs are on offer too. While Hyderabadi Kutchi Biryani, Haleem and Murgh Nagina are well-made, portions are small. Try Mirchi ka Salan and Double ka Meetha, but please avoid the Khubani ka Meetha. Dum Hyderabadi Kutchi Yakhni Biryani (Rs. 380), Murgh Nazneen (spicy cashew nut-based gravy), Nafeez Jhinge, Murgh Qutub Shahi (in green chilli paste), Tana Shahi, Tarkari Biryani and Sheer Korma Nizami are all offered here.
