Nagpada's no-frills Sarvi has been serving Irani-style, non-spicy Seekh Kebabs with large, soft rotis for over 90 years at this high-ceilinged, triangular eatery with two air-conditioned mezzanine rooms. A tradition that began three generatons ago by Marium Sultan continues, thanks to grandson Masood Mozayen. Great Aab Gosht, Zaban, Bheja and Paya Masala; lovely Arbi Gosht and Dabba Gosht as well. Paya Soup, Masoor Pulao and Kheema are all famous here. It's a basic but charming set-up: Irani chairs, bright tubelights and rubber-chappalled waiters scamper around with mauve plastic plates and steel jugs - go if you're the kind of person who believes that those elements only add to the overall experience.

Sarvi serves the best seekh kebabs in city but their other preparations have nothing noteworthy about them.Service is quick, ambience is ok but the restaurant is bit cramped.

I have been to Sarvi a couple of times. Their Seekh Kebabs are simply superb, always bang on the money. Seekhs are their biggest USP. The pricing is reasonable and will never burn a hole in your wallet. This place deserves only 3 stars but their Seekh Ke
