"It's the # 1 of the 167 things to do in Mumbai" advises Lonely Planet. It is a must-visit, open-through-the-day VFM veg Mecca with the "veg edge" for not only the Mumbaikar foodie but also every casual tourist. The country's most popular vegetarian restaurant chain has been serving its timeless classics in its brightly lit, cheerful, twin-levelled space overlooking Chowpatty Seaface for the past 53 years and has opened in more than a dozen cities across India. Over the years, dynamic Sanjiv Chona's Cream Centre has become synonymous with superlative plump bhaturas, luscious fat chanas, world's best nachos, onion rings and sizzling brownies. There is a profusion of choice on the menu! Italian and Delhi Papdi Chaat too. As are the robustly spiced and authentic Bambaiya Ragda, Penne Arrabiata and Sizzling Paneer Chilli. It's just the place for families and kids. As the book goes to press, new menus focusing on rustic Punjabi Indian are being finalized. You can look forward to true-blue Tandoori fare here. The recently opened, Phoenix Mills branch has been mobbed from the day it opened. It is yet another rare combination of a swanky-contemporary ambience with hugely affordable price points. The same tried-and-tested menu reigns supreme. As the book goes to press, Cream Centre opens in Market City, Kurla in an even more glamorous avatar. On popular demand, this South Mumbai landmark has set up in North Mumbai (the Oberoi Mall in Goregaon near the highway). It has been wowing its diners with its tasteful travertine marble ambience and majestic 19-ft-high ceiling. Make yourself comfy in the gleaming space and trip out on thin-crust pizzas (made of imported Italian tomatoes and cheese). These 13" fresh dough pizzas with a crisp, thin crust are baked on stone in an Italian oven (in the state-of-the-art show kitchen).

The place offers good food, the service is also quick.
But the only thing that stops one from going to this place is long waiting. One has to wait for around 45 minutes if you go there on Sunday.

I came here along with my friends and i always regret why did i not visited this place before. Their piping hot chola bhatura's here are truely divine and so are nachos, onion rings, cheese balls, sizzling paneer and my alltime favorite "sizzling brownie". To conclude my review I’d say Warm & hospitable atmoshpere,Great Ambience,Top Quality Veg Food and Economic Fare.
