Come for kebabs marinated to perfection, made on the sigdi (instead of the tandoor) and served on a sizzler platter. The first-floor restaurant of the Inter Continental, cheery and bright by day and candle-lit and sensuous at night, overlooks the spectacular Marine Drive bay. Succulent and unusual Afghani Murgh Tikka, outstanding Lahsuni Jhinga, signature Seekh Kebab, Galouti Kebab, Tandoori Norwegian Salmon (kasoondi mustard-rubbed salmon chunks with a Dill Cucumber Dip), Baluchi Sea Bass (green garlic, royal cumin and young scallion-infused yoghurt-marinated Sea Bass steaks charbroiled) and all grills are served with a traditional signature Yoghurt Chutney made with a blend of 36 spices and mint and coriander dip. Dal Makhni is as luscious and creamy as ever. Lahsuni Palak (fresh spinach puree pan-toasted with baby garlic) is brilliant. Some lacklustre main dishes, slow service, avoidable biryani and average desserts (including the Espresso Molten Chocolate Cake) are a few minus points. there has been many a new introduction and surprise here (Saltwater Fish and Crab Cake). The hot favourites continue to be Kukkad and Lemon Grass Shorba, Rahra Gosht, Lavang Bahar ki Machhi, Dhania Murgh and Paneer Khatta Pyaz and Bhindi Amchoori. Seafood lovers can look forward to Seafood Tawa Pulao and Lobster Lajawab. And please don't forget to ask for the Kebab Korner-special Garlic Naan (stuffed with roasted garlic). After all that gorging, the sugar-free Gajar ka Halwa is a welcome finale. P.S. Healthy, innovative Bento Box lunches, priced between Rs. 750 and Rs. 950 and swiftly served within 15 minutes, are great "express lunch" options.

Kebab Korner makes their popular kebabs on sigdi and that gives this smoking hot dish an all new twist. I am a regular here and love hogging on their Afghani Murgh Tikka, Lobster Lajawab and Seekh Kebab. Every dish that I have tastes here at the Kebab Korner has taken me by pleasant surprise.

Recently, I dined in here and the experience was truly awesome. I can't actually figure out what I liked the most, the food or the ambience. The kebabs are prepared in Sigdi and the taste quite different then tandoori dishes. The yogurt chutney that they serve is a mixture of different tastes blend perfectly...
