Sip your Kullar Masala Chai (served in an earthen pot) at Churchgate's calm, cool, colonial club-like, open-through-the-day, centrally located space dedicated to the tea buffs of the city (they boast over 30 varieties). Browse through the hundred varieties on sale at the Tea Bazaar. Oolong, First Flush, Second Flush, Kashmiri Kahwa… pick your pleasure. They even have tea-based mocktails and flavoured tea: Banana Caramel Tea, Watermelon Tea, Hot Buttered Apple and Rose Tea. The snacky (quick bite) menu offers pre-plated meals of Vegetables with Paprika Sauce, Vegetables in Coriander Sauce, Chicken in Peri Peri Sauce, and Roasted Chicken in Red Wine Sauce, all of which make frequent appearances at the tables. Delicious snacks (Cheese Jalapeño Pops, Macaroni 'n' Cheese Wedge, Fried Baby Corn, and Prawn/Chicken Koliwada) and open-faced sandwiches. They offer an exclusively European/Global-fare Executive Breakfast (Veg: `110; Non-veg: Rs. 130), but serve both Indian and European/Global as part of their pre-plated lunch (Veg: Rs. 195 plus taxes; Non-veg: Rs. 215 plus taxes); however, service can be a bit slow. Elegant crockery in addition to green and red vases make this neat, carpeted space very welcoming.
