Happily, there are two Busabas now! This year saw the opening of the Parel branch. Go to investment-banker-turned-restaurateur Nikhil Chib's Busabas for a cosy drink in a cosy space. The tiny bungalow tucked behind the Taj (and just next to Indigo) continues to draw regulars. Push open the glass door and walk into a wooden-floored waiting area, a handsome lounge area alive with house and lounge music. The larger twin-levelled Parel Busaba is slowly catching up. Knock back their famous Caipiroska.

Busaba offers a mind blowing experience when it comes to the food. I regularly visit so that I can pick and choose among different menu items that are all delicious.
My favourites are the beef skewers, prawn tempura, tiger prawns, along with the Korean & Vietnamese pancakes that balance off the starters. Main course is usually the steamed fish even though there are a number of off-the-menu dishes that you can ask about.
Service is always with a smile and you can ask for Gary who is excellent at recommending the right dish and can offer you some insight into the preparation of each dish.
As a result, I would definitely recommend this place to those who haven't been there yet, and always end up taking guests to experience a great meal.
