Our Alibaba (which is brilliantly located� right next to the landmark, Gateway of India at Apollo Bunder) does not take his name very seriously and serves Thai and Chinese along with the Indian menus. Skip the Thai curries and try the Chinese (Mushroom Salt 'n' Pepper, Drums of Heaven, X-O Prawns). But finally, it is the Indian fare which is the winner here. Check out the kebabs and you can't go wrong. The Tandoor Sizzler Platter (veg and non-veg), Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Tandoori and Stuffed Tandoori Mushroom are well-marinated and above average. This pleasantly appointed, twin-levelled eatery has a special snacks menu with the usuals like burgers, sandwiches, coffee, shakes, and a wine list (Indian and imported) too.
