Wednesdays and Saturdays are my D-days here because that is when the city's best Dhansak is available at this lovable, 55-year-old, family-run Colaba eatery. As I look around, I see the small, narrow air-conditioned eatery bustling with regulars ”in the know”. Owner-chef Mehroo Kadkhodai selects the ingredients with great care and cooks this Parsi speciality herself. Jovial Jimmy, Mehroo's husband, is at the cash counter. Check daily specials for great authentic Parsi fare here: Curry Rice (Tuesdays), Sali Mutton, Margi Sali (Fri-Sun) and more. Fish 'n' Chips, Spicy Chicken Masala, Buccaneer's Delight (Sunday - full Roast Chicken with Rice), Mutton Kid Gosht (Tuesdays), Mutton Cutlets with Roasted Potatoes, Sizzlers and Steaks with Roasted Onions are all worth ordering. Yes, they offer Chinese, European/Global, Goan, sizzlers and even Mughlai and Tandoori, but stick to the heavenly Parsi fare if you go and don't miss the superb Lagan nu Custard!

Paradise serves the best parsi food in town .I have been eating here since I was a kid too and I am kinda hooked to this place. Curry Rice, Sali Mutton, Margi Sali tastes amazing. Their chicken preparations also tastes good.
