Go for the hottest sellers - Paani Puri, Dahi Puri and Ragda Patties. Faluda Kulfi too. Kailash Parbat now spans the city. It all started with the Colaba flagship, a no-frills (pure vegetarian) house of chaat which retains a certain charm through its basic decor and still conducts brisk business with platefuls of Bhel and Paani Puri, now served with chutney made from filtered water. Soulful Sindhi khana - Dal Pakhwan for breakfast (only in Colaba), Bhee Masala (lotus root; again only in Colaba), greasy Koki (Masala Tawa Paratha), but thin and flavoursome Sindhi Curry (authentic!) that leaves you wishing they offered even more. Look for Sarson da Saag and Makki di Roti in the winter. Service has slowed down, the Punjabi menu is mediocre, and their plump, hot Gulab Jamuns have lost that "special something", but it's still a great VFM joint that even delivers lunch/dinner packs (veggies, rice, two rotis, Gulab Jamun; Rs. 120) through the VT area for a minimum Rs. 100 order. Paani Puri, Dahi Puri, Ragda Patties and Faluda Kulfi are the most popular items on the menu. Look for the ever-popular Kailash Parbat chaat counter at a mall near you!

we had an urge for sarson ka saag and makki ki roti so ended up here. The food was mediocre, although the place is over-rated. But their chaats and paani puri's were amazing. A place like Kailash Parbat is known for their snacks and not the food. On the ambiance front the place looks a bit worn out and old. The service was quick though.
