As the book goes to press, new menus are expected in Moshe's. For flavourful, simple, cooked food, served in generous portions, Moshe's is worth a visit. Natural. Simple. Fresh. ”Secret” ingredients that result in exciting, flavourful and healthy Mediterranean fare served in generous portions. Walk right into the flagship high-ceilinged, wooden-floored Cuffe Parade restaurant. No doubt this small eatery gets crowded and noisy (in the evenings especially), and the wooden tables are too close to each other. Sit out on the patio amid lanterns and plants, or on the wooden tables inside. Begin with a fresh fruit smoothie and the shatteringly crisp and wholesome bread paired with creamy butter whipped up in their central kitchen (where they also make jams, beverage mixes, accompaniment sauces, fresh fruit butter, and bread (crusty Cheese Garlic Bread) is available for purchase near the dessert counter). Hearty soups, refreshingly crisp salads, pastas in creamy sauces, flavourful risottos and sandwiches bursting with fresh and bold flavours, all with masterful touches of innovation. The Chargrilled Rawas with Caper Lime is just as popular as ever. The attractive displays of decadent desserts (Molten Chocolate, Mud Pie) exert their own magnetic pull. Generously portioned Gooey Chocolate Cake is simply divine!

The month of October is filled with birthdays, not jus tmy friends but also mum and my sister. Since there are two birthdays its almost as if its a month long celebration. In order to kick start the revelry we headed to Moshe's for a pre pre birthday lunch.
Moshe's is located in an old building which really adds to its ambience. however we were more interested in the food than anything else.
We usually don't order too many starters while dining with mum but we made an excception for their yummy crispy potato skins. The tomato salsa and garlic aioli that accompanied it was lovely but the skins were crispy and NOT oily as most places liek to serve them. I could happily eat two or three more plates of it.
Their spicy balinese curry is delicious but two favourites are their beatenn fillet with gremolata and mushroom risotto and their rawas al ajillo. Both dishes are just spectacular, the steak is melt in your mouth soft and the gremolata ( mix of galric lime n parsely) added intense flavour.
The fish which is cooked in a wine sauce is well cooked and perfectly flavoured but what really brings it together is the crispy sauteed vegetables. Definately worth ordering.
The dessert counter is packed with treats but we went with a tired and tested orange chocolate cake which was heady and had a slight kick of alcohol. was a great end to a great meal.

The Chargrilled Rawas with Caper Lime was a specialty, is a specialty and will always remain a specialty here in Moshe's. Even though they have a new menu now but still some dishes will always remain a hit with the regular customers.
Pastas, crispy salads and very well displayed desserts are the reason why I land up in Moshe's every now and then.

Moshe's never fails to impress me. The service, ambience, food, everything is top notch! Food here is amazing you must go there and savour the flavours. Try out their pastas and shakes. Prices might pinch you but that's hardly a minus.
