This no-frills, VFM, comfy, functional, air-conditioned and small eatery serves good quality coastal food. Try their Konkan and Coastal Karnataka fare; avoid the Goan and Mughlai. Veggies, stick to Khichdi Kadhi. VFM pricing, generous portions, super value. All the reasons to get hooked! The young partner, Girish Shetty, is "crazy about buying fish, even more than eating it" and shops for all three of their Jai Hind Lunch Homes. It shows in the freshness of the seafood. And the price points have me over the moon with delight. The seafood dishes are priced between Rs. 100 and Rs. 150. Start with Bharli Bombil and Clams Sukka. Delight in the Konkan Sagoti and the brilliantly spiced Chicken Kori Kari. Stay far away from Mughlai-Punjabi hybrids like Chicken Makhanwala, Goan Recheado and the Parsi Patra ni Machhi. Most seafood is priced under Rs. 250 per dish, making this one of the best deals in town! Jai Ho!

Get your seafood craving satisfied at Jai Hind. Fried fish, curry, ambotik, gassi, sukka, they are all so good. They do serve muglai and chinese but stick to what they do best.

Even though Jai Hind Lunch Home has more than a number of cuisines to offer including Mughlai as well as Goan, but they serve Malvani best.
The Konakan Sagoti, modestly spiced Chicken Kori Kari are purely awesome. Clams Sukka, Bharli Bombil are also worth giving a shot. Jai Hind Lunch Home offers few things that are better avoided specially on the Mughlai section.
