Chef Chan Lapkan (from Thailand) charms her guests with authentic, creamy and coconutty Thai curries at Dadar's Tamnak Thai. Walk in to find orchids on every white, crisp table-clothed table. The Papaya Salad is a great balance of tangy and sweet flavoursbut not as crunchy as I'd like it to be. Thai Green Curry and the Stir-fried Prawns in a Green Thai Sauce are super. Woon Khati (steamed coconut custard) is a little too gelatinous but good. The restaurant is popular for its good choice of seafood and veggie options, an extensive choice world wines and a well-stocked bar... Wonder why this Tamnak Thai is not bustling with diners?!

Well i wanted to try Thai food for first time and went here on friends recomendation. The ambience was excellent and so was the food. Their Thai Green Curry and the Stir-fried Prawns in a Green Thai Sauce are my favourite here. At the end of it all we were really full and satisfied. In general the portions for the main course were quite big and worth the money.
