Here it is. My best bet for a seamlessly good dim sum experience at lunch (and now dinner too). A Times Food Guide award winner for 2010, the flagship branch in South Mumbai is eight years old. Visit it for vegetarian fare and thin-skinned, translucent dim sum served fresh and hot in bamboo baskets (priced on the higher side). Scallop Dumplings, Steamed Prawn Dumplings and Chicken Mushroom Buns are all good. Veg Fried Dough Cheung Fun, which combines steamed layers with a crisp-fried one, is altogether extraordinary. My favourite is the Rice Skin Cheung Fun. Try the newly introduced Chilean Sea Bass in Blackbean Sauce and Black Cod in Yellowbean Sauce. Plenty for vegetarians including Exotic Vegetables Mix (with black mushrooms). For non-vegetarians looking for robust flavours, the Peifoong Thong (garlic and green chilli-rich) on chicken, fish or prawns is worth trying. The all-time favourites in the mains remain the Crispy Aromatic Duck served in all its crisp glory, pancakes, plum sauce, etc., Steamed Fish (though I am not a fan) and Blackbean Chicken. Comfortable, predictable decor.rn

I think despite the fact that this is definately an expensive place, it is worth it. Royal China knows how to dish up some excellent cantonese style chinese grub. some of my fav are without the doubt their pan fried noodles with beef and veggies, ALL their dimsums momos, specially their shanghai dumplings, the chilian sea bass, the steam tenderloin balls (slurp) their pork buns oh my gosh I could go on n on. Do not go here expecting greasy oily Indian Chinese you will be completely out of place. Let the server guide you incase your at a loss in this oriental palace of goodies. All in all an excellent restaurant, its got my vote.

No restaurant serves better Chinese food. I love the soups, the flat dim sums and all their veggies...everything is yummy. I never tire eating here

I've frequented the Monday night banquet at least once a month and come away breathless with the array of great dishes being served. Prawn dumplings, sesame paper prawn rolls, roast pork cheung fun, spare ribs, sauteed lamb with yellow been sauce are just a few of the delights I wouldn't miss on these occasions...
