Tucked right next to Crawford Market is this late-night birds’ paradise. A narrow staircase leads to a dimly lit, loungey three-roomed space (private Log Cabin and Red Room too) with Moroccan motifs and low seating. No alcohol (surprisingly), but great coffee and desserts instead. Chicken a la Kiev, Stroganoff and Potato Tuk Sichuan as well as Bistro Chicken Fingers are the favourites here. Chef Chetan Sethi’s European fare like traditional Fish ‘n’ Chips with five spices; Honey, Chilli, Mustard Chicken Wings; Chilli Flake and Garlic-drizzled Pasta Arrabbiata are infused with robust, full-bodied flavours. The menu offers lasagne, risotti and even bolognaise. Do ask for the burgers (Indian-style vegetarian Hara Bhara Burger with Cheese, Charbroiled Steak Burger; Hickory-smoked Beef Burger); sandwiches (Bistro Veg Club Sandwich, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich); buffalo wings, soups (Mushroom Cappuccino Soup) and salads (Bistro Toss-me Salad and Ceasar Salad) too. Pizzas (Indian-style Chicken Tikka Jalapeno Pizza, Seafood, Veg) take pride of place here.
