Perfect for a hot Sunday afternoon is the pool plus brunch offer from Juhu's Sun-n-Sand Hotel. The charming, white-and-blue coffee shop has a glass dome that opens up to the sky while the glass windows bring in the sea; the buffet menu covers cuisine from China to Italy, along with an attractive array of desserts. So take a leisurely dip in the pool, sip your drinks and relish a multi cuisine, 45-item brunch buffet on Sunday (Rs.1,600 with and Rs.1,500 without alcohol; taxes extra). Besides this, the place offers decent pastas, pizzas, club sandwiches and other typical coffee shoppy fare round the clock. The ala carte menu between 8am and 11pm is a mix of Chinese, European and Indian. But your best bets remain the buffets: Rs.600 for breakfast and Rs.1,200 for dinner; lunch is a la carte only (Lobster Thermidore anyone?). The bar serves domestic spirits including Kingfisher Blue and a few cocktails.

The drinks of Aqua are something worth coming for again and again. The Golgappa Margarita is something to be tried at least for once. I also like Fruit Punch and mocktails that I enjoy while listening to in house DJ music.

I am a regular at Aqua Spirit because of its experimental drinks menu, where else they serve Golgappa margharita and frozen margharitas? Also the new flavors of Mojitos are superb. With retro, Bollywood and rock music on the menu Aqua Spirit is a weekend feast destination.
