The once ever-friendly and popular neighbourhood coffee bar that popped up all over Mumbai like daisies scaled up too quickly to keep up service standards and general maintenance. Yet even in the most rundown of branches, there is something comforting about these brightly lit, orange coffee bars. Caffeine fixes here will cost you, but regulars say the freshly brewed Espressos (flavoured with rum, brandy or whisky essence), Cafe Mocha and Brrrista are worth the price. Fruit smoothies are great energy boosters and the many tea types (Iced, Assam, Green and more) are fantastic relaxers. If you must snack here, expect decent veg and non-veg fillers, but nothing special, be it Chilli Chicken Cheese Calzone, Spicy Creamy Chicken and Paneer, Masala Cheese Roll and Beetroot Raisin Cake. Coffee connoisseurs can purchase a French Press to brew their own blends. Great gifts here too: mugs (microwave and dishwasher friendly), travel slippers and even cuddly soft toys! Coffee lovers, ask for Cafe Tiramisu and Cafe Amoretto; Cafe Gianduja; Cafe Chai Latte; Affogato Italiano (ice cream and espresso) and the Barista House blend too

Terrible rates. Barista is well known for its many coffee flavours and other snacks besides a chilled out ambience. Well this outlet was no different. I was out with friends winding up at Barista after a hard day?s work. Wanted something small to fill me
