As the book goes to press, I pop into Il Terrazzo, a serene and idyllic lounging space atop a quaint old villa, overlooking Juhu Beach on a Saturday night. Il Terazzo (as the name says), sits on top of the Italian restaurant, Delitalia (it is actually an extension of it) and is the perfect place to lounge, watch the sunset and enjoy a drink after a long day at work or simply catch up with friends under the open sky! Azure blue and white dominate the colour scheme while textured, white washed stucco walls seamlessly compliment the mellow lighting and relaxed mood - quintessentially a lounge. Check out the home-style Italian snacks, especially the Parma-wrapped Scallop, Wood-fired Spiced Chicken and the Herb and Spiced Roasted Wood-fired Potato Wedges and Veg and Rissotto Cake with Spiced Tomato Relish. The refreshing Green Apple Martini and Plum and Tangerine Grapparita and Grappa Cosmopolitan are worth trying, as are the Flavoured Margaritas and Italian liquors and wines. Don't miss the wood-fired pizzas either. I am informed that they are open only on Wednesdays, when they have the 'Daddys Windsong Wednesdays'. Pay Rs.500 per head and listen to different live bands every Wednesday. Yaana Gupta, Anushka Manchanda, Ankur Tiwari, Ashutosh Pathak and Luke Kenny are a few of the artistes who have performed at DaddyWindsong Wednesdays.
