As the book goes to press, I revisit this handsome restaurant of Juhu's JW Marriot only to find that not only (once again) there are in-between chefs but also that the once outstanding Italian fare under Chef Orianna Tirabasi has undergone a disappointing change. The wooden floor-lit bridge, bustling open kitchen of this contemporary, first-floored, three-levelled Italian restaurant is as spiffy as ever. For casual dining, opt for the wooden level, the carpeted one for a formal experience. Sit by the window for a stunning view of the garden and ocean or opt for the more cosy banquet seating. We checked out the just about okayish thin-crust pizza, the stodgy Mushroom Onion Tart and the overdone Quail. The Aglio Olio Pasta is cooked just right and the Cantucini with Custard delights. Hopefully, they will get themselves another Italian speciality chef soon.rnrnP.S. They are open from 12.30 PM to 4:00 PM on Sundays for brunches.
