Steel corrugated sheets make up the roof of the large non-airconditioned section of this bustling open-air (tiny air-conditioned section that seats 30 available too) Kandivali neighbourhood favourite whose reasonable prices, consistent quality and diverse menu (473 items!) draw college students and locals in droves. The very wellwo , wooden, Sunmica tabletops and steel foam chairs reflect the steady footfalls that haven’t ceased since Konark opened a decade ago. From South Indian (Udupi), Punjabi, Mughlai, Chinese to Pao Bhaji, sandwiches and pizzas, most dishes have generous portion sizes, a fantastic smoky taste (Veg Nawabi and Veg Kadhai) and are prepared with very little oil.
