Khar's Shree Krishna may have a picture of Lord Krishna as the focal point of the decor, but it doesn't serve all bland and pristine fare. The silver chairs and black tables and the staircase sweeping to the upstairs section make for an unusual setting for the fare which follows. Decent South Indian fare, masaledaar Punjabi and ditto for the Chinese dishes. The staff at Shree Krishna recommends Paneer Tikka Masala, Spring Masala Dosa, Veg Club Sandwiches, Veg Handi and Paneer Crispy Salt Pepper. Generous portions of Fruit Salad and Ice Cream Shake are served. The house specialities are the Krishna Pao Bhaji, Krishna Biryani, Aloo Masala Methi, Mushroom Matar and Mushroom Masala. Ask for the Kashmiri Naan, Pudina Paratha or Masala Kulcha. P.S. There is an AC section too but the prices of dishes are higher there.
