Calling all Single Malt fans for an unexpected find at this handsome Pan-Asian restaurant. Walk over to the wooden bar (great back-lit display and spotlights) and ask for Cardhu (12 years, Rs. 400+) and Aberfeldy (21 years, Rs. 850+). Surprises continue with rare Chinese beer, Tsing Toa (Rs. 350), in addition to six other options, both imported and domestic. For special celebrations, they’ve got champagne and sparkling wine (Pinot Gris) too. The secret to their Sangria (red and white), they tell us, is that the fruits are allowed to mature for one day. Order a rum-based Mojito or vodka-based Long Island Iced Tea. The friendly bartender is happy to whip up whatever you’re in the mood for. Hanging lamps, Vietnamese stones on the walls and 3D paintings set the mood for an early evening drink. Service is a bit off-key, but many guests seem to enjoy the Teppanyaki Grill at their table.
