Live music fans hop over to the Blue Frog. John McLaughlin, Richard Bona, Zakir Hussain, Raul Midon, Anushka Shankar, Mike Stern, DJ Infected Mushroom, DJ GMS and DJ Skazi have all performed at this opera house-meets-warehouse set in 6,000sq ft high-ceilinged, good-looking space with pod seating and stage, an open kitchen, and a bar. Dedicated to live music, this restaurant and bar houses four state-of-the-art music recording studios, a music production house, an independent record label and an artist management service. It also features live music six nights a week in every genre with international artists appearing regularly. New bands, the up and comers, play from Tuesdays through Thursdays (7:30 PM to 8:30 PM), Fridays (8:30 PM to 9:30 PM), followed by regularly scheduled bands from 10 PM onwards. Sip on speciality cocktails as you enjoy the performances. High prices but standards to match. Premium wines, champagnes, single malts, and spirits (including a wide assortment of vodkas and single malts) at this well-stocked bar. Scarlet (vodka-based), Green Apply Mojito (rum-based), Blue Frog, Thai Mojito, Bamboo Glow, Wasabi Bloody Mary and Mango Blue Bellini are a few of the specialities too. The cuisine here is Modern European with a few Indian touches. The Blue Frog is the collective brainchild of composers Ashu Phatak and Dhruv Ghanekar, film-maker Mahesh Mathai (Bhopal Express), Simran Mulchandani (ex-JP Morgan investment banker), and producer Srila Chatterjee (Highlight Films).

1. MY DELIGHT:
There is no doubt that, Blue frog is the most happening live music venue in Mumbai, and understandably so.
2. PROS:
>> Serves up sumptuous food and drinks
>> Lavishly decorated
>> Acoustically designed
>> Very versatile and hosts all genres of music
3. CONS:
>> Difficult to get from the dancefloor to the bar during busy times.
>> Very Expensive
>> The area around the bar becomes extremely crowded and service becomes slow.
4. DECOR & AMBIANCE:
Inside, a stage runs along one side and on the opposite side is a full length bar and open kitchen. In between is the dance floor, and pods. The area surrounding the pods is back-lit and changes color with the music.
5. WHAT MAKES A MEMORABLE NIGHT:
The venue doesn't restrict itself to any particular genre of music. Instead, some nights it transforms itself into a club with live DJs, while other nights it take on a more traditional and laid back vibe with live bands and solo performances.
6. MENU:
An extensive menu for regular, happy hours, Sunday brunch, lunch and bar menu. Each menu is very detailed giving the descriptions of the dishes.
7. FOOD & BEVERAGES:
Their food is so wonderful that it can seriously distract you from the music. Some worthy dishes to try are cocktail sausages in starters. In main course, you can indulge in linguine chicken which is a must have. Leave some room to try their fabulous dessert hot strawberry souffle.
In Beverages, they offer a wide range of premium wines, champagnes, single malts, spirits and specially crafted signature cocktails and martinis to get you into a different state of mind!

The Blue Frog Club is an atmosphere of culture, joy, food and fun. The place is known for organizing musical gigs every now and then with well known artists performing here. The cocktail menu is just perfect for a musical evening and the food served here compliments the drink and music.
I am not too regular here due to my work commitment but every time i visit The Blue Frog Club i leave with a happy smile.
